NC...my thoughts are with you, and I had a similar experience on Christmas day with my puppy. She is 11 weeks old, and a cat clawed her right eye...punctured the retina. I had to drive her 2 hours to an animal hospital that had an opthamologist on call. The emergency center in the city I live in didn't have the right equipment to work on her eye. So the doc performed surgery on Abby's eye Christmas night. She seems to be doing better, but still has the possibility of losing the eye should an infection develop! I don't think she can see at all out of her eye. But I've got my fingers crossed for her! It killed me to see my pup hurting so bad! This is a pic of her once I got her home after surgery!

The bright side is that they adjust really well with the remaining eye. We'll be praying for good biopsy results for you. She's a beautiful girl...

    Goose...

Sorry to hear about Abby's eye. Hope she'll be OK.

Btw, is the cat still alive or has it been banished from the house? ;)

Woodie...cat was not mine. I hate cats with a passion. The only reason it's still alive is becuse it's a friends parents cat. I woulda killed it right then and there, but I was too worried about my pup to take the time to go after the cat.

NC, glad to hear she is feeling better! If there is anything we can do, let us know!!!!
