Sounds like a rough year buddy. I feel your pain.
Just had 2 hens come across the road and a bird gobbling behind them, guy came riding by on a bike and they booked back over lol
Lol. Wow you really cannot win can you! I'm sorry.
Aw geese .. at least ya' got toms yer' seeing and will play with you, IF. not interrupted
It could be like where I'm huntin' and I may hear one on the neighbors .. way, way away
Congrats on your daughters success and now go git' the harder to kill toms
Thanks she is very proud of it. I undersrand your problem. I have subdivisions that feed them and keep them instead of on my farms.
Sometimes you're the windshield and sometimes you're the bug.
I feel your pain as I've had seasons that I've wanted to pull my hair out! I hunted 10 days this season before finally drawing down on a bird.
Keep after em. Sounds like you've had a successful season with your daughter!!!
I had my bad luck season last year, lost my main piece of property, hung up birds, blown out by deer, and I missed the 2 I actually got a shot at with my 20 ga. Kept after it and went back to the 12 ga I know and love and ended the season with a Jake. Just keep after it!
Well today was my last day to hunt and things finally worked out. I killed one of the birds on my hit list. So that's always a good way to end. Ill take it everyday. I killed 2 and my 9 year old girl killed 4. 45 weeks and counting till we do it again.
