Always have herd, “ wish we would get ice and snow up north to push the birds down”. Well, we got it. Have you noticed many more birds this season, as compared to past years?
    I have not. Thoughts?

There's no birds to push down as far as ducks. Geese, different story. Way more geese than ducks in the Chesapeake Bay region.

Yes, seen way more ducks than I've seen this time of year in the 15 years I've been in Maryland. This is exactly what I always wish for.

Decent amount of divers. I haven't seen an over abundance of puddles and geese. I think we used to get a push of resident geese come down from pa and new York when it got cold and snowy up north but I think ther e has been a big push to poison many over the last several years due to plane incidents.

I would rather have it cold rather than 60 degree temps but a bit warmer th an it currently is

    Didn't hear much shooting yesterday.

There's still an enormous amount of geese in SE Pa. There just sitting on the ice. I'm amazed they haven't

More mallards out back this am then I’ve ever seen. Guess the ice had em bunched up. I’ve been seeing plenty of ducks. The wind is a little unnecessary.
