2018 is in the books. I just got done planting soybeans, before that rice and prior to that corn. I’m not a big time operator but, along with the wife working we scratch out a living. It’s a great feeling once all the crops are in but, there’s still a lot of spraying to be done. It’s time for me to "sling a shoe". I’m going to spend part of the next few nights at the local honky tonk and was wondering when y’all get sideways and some don’t but, what are y’all drinking or whatever?

I'm sittin here, or was til it got too dark, watching a nice whitail buck and sipping a creature comforts Bibo.

Also got a bottle of Scotch I like, Dewar's 15 yr. It's better than some of the expensive stuff I've had.

I quit getting bent about the time my oldest was born, but I will have one every once in a while. Beer: Yingling or Coors when it's this hot. Bourbon: Markers Mark is my favorite but there are many, many good ones. Scotch: Haig and Haig Pinch is my favorite.(I never could get excited about all that single malt stuff). Canadian Club is an excellent whiskey distilled north of the border. There are many, many good wines, some not very expensive at all. If you're going to have a good steak, which I recommend, a good chianti, cabernet, or merlot - you know, crusty bread, hearty red - that sort of thing.

I guess I’m mostly a beer drinker. I usually drink Busch but, love Stag and PBR. My pa, still makes some good White Mule, that goes great with beer. Wife will drinks the same beer as me so, that’s a big plus. When she drinks a couple slugs of the Mule, she’s done but to many and she gets dangerous.

I’ve seen both sides but, to much and she’s either ready to fight or sick.

    Just drink whatever you like!

If I get specific I will just come across as a snob. I have a personal limit of 2 drinks, so if I only get two, they are going to be good.
