I hate em too. But I only use four dozen so it's not a big deal. Using fewer decoys has worked better for me the last three seasons.

The hate will fade when the first set of heavies lights into them.

    Hey Ben
We don't use many either.. I might set 12 to 18 depends on how things look in the morning and how I'm feeling... takes us all of 15 minutes to set our trap... these early season geese are pretty easy, on the edge of stupid and with all the young birds lots of times they come right back after shooting. It don't take no super spread.. They been using the same area all off season and fall in your lap when you place a few buddies in the right spots...Later in the season we might go to 36 but that's to much work for this dude !

Tomorrow will be about 4 dozen. We set anywhere from 6 to 10 dozen depending where we are hunting. They wise up pretty quick.
