I have a little Gerber LST drop point that works great for breasting birds out.
I made the switch this year. Awesome knives!
Another option is the Buck Knives Waterfowler, made in Post Falls Idaho.
Lifetime warranty is hard to beat. USA made.
Looks like most of the knives have a short blade (about 3") a drop point, and sharp is good.
An ancient Opinel folder and Plumb hatchet. Been only used on pheasants and grouse this year, though.
