    None of the 'professional' taxidermist here seem to like this mount but..to me it's not THAT bad. I guess like they say...beauty IS in the eye of the beholder..

    Come on folks...let's keep the thread rolling. :sp This was the last bird mount I mounted for myself 14 months ago. :cry I hope I will get a chance to mount more of my birds (Turkeys, Sea Ducks, Banded ducks/Geese, and Hybrids) plus, my sons and daughters birds sometime this next fall.

    But anyway, here it is.

    With as many mounts as I have, it's hard to pick a best or favorite for that matter. This one was mounted for me by Shane Smith and is definately in the top 5 in my collection.

    As far as birds I've mounted, this is one of my best jobs when everything fell together and worked out right for a change.

    i dont think i've gotten a mount done in about 8 years. Yall got some really nice lookers though
