That speck mount looks great.
Thanks, those were done by Troy Rose of Artistic Taxidermy here in Idaho. He does really good work and are the first birds he's done for me even though that is what he does best. He has done an elk and bear for me before and always does a great job presenting them. It's so much better in person as the picture doesn't do much justice to the lower bird at all. Here is a close up of the lower birds head. The top bird was my first speck ever so even though it was more of a juvenile bird I still mounted it. I shot these two the last week of January and the top bird still had pin feathers in it. Sorry for the elk horn in the way, I'm starting to run out of room and have to do some shifting around.
Shane, i think you are right. Mark's birds were all really nice. But that was one sharp bird. Tim
This is my favorite bird now, but I have a redhead coming from Brad that I am so anxious to get back. Should be a pretty sick mount using a picture from someone on the fuge as the reference.
Here's the mount most special to me, as my wife suprised me with it. She conspired with Stuffinducks, and I still thought they were in the freezer.
And these because seaducks are my favorite of all ducks! Also done by Stuffinducks.
I'm a HUGE fan of Stuffin' Ducks works...Right Click save everytime...I've never seen that Merg mount before...Fantastic!
My favorite mount. Done by Pat Bradburn from NW wings!!
