What are the best sleeper shells out there? I was interested in the Bigfoot oversize for no particular reason other than I love their goose floaters.

Drill a small hole in the back of the Bigfoot sleepers and attach a piece of decoy line or parachute chord to the decoy in a loop. Makes picking up and setting them a lot easier. A more rigid chord or line works better.

Dakota sleepers. Stack well and are made heavier than some. They don't blow in strong winds.

Why? They are basically the same I think. What makes DOA the favorite?

They all basically look the same as far as dakota, tanglefree, bigfoot, DOA etc. Looks wise I think the Avery one piece look the best but don't hold up as well as other brands nor are they as big. The oversized GHG shells are my all time favorite, wish they wouldn't of stopped making them.

I couldnt agree more... Im just hoping the Avian X shells that are out will fill that gap. If the heads from the Avian fit the GHGs I ll really of hit the lottery.
