Had the best time watching my buddy's kid shoot at a bunch of tolls of black ducks before he got his first ever! Had fun calling in the most vocal black ducks ever !

I anticipate that we are indeed shaping up to have a decent season for a change. Today was the first time in at least 4-5 years that I have seen rafts and rafts of blue bills from the Bay bridge during duck season... a little wind and it on... also seeing good numnbers of mallards in the tidal rivers as well as geese. Enjoy it guys

Today, in our morning hunt, there were no survivors. Somewhere between 830 am and 330 pm we apparently lost what little bit of shooting skill we had.

Wherever you lost it, it's probably sitting around with mine having a beer! I've never had so many ducks pitch in so close and leave so unscathed as I have this season!
