After talking with Al offered to send me some samples. When I got them in I compared the to my Dive Bombs. I already have 6dz. DB's which I like but I will be adding 8dz Big Al canadas, plus 5dz b&w's, & seveal dz. specks & mallards whenever they go on sale.
Needles to say I was impressed with his dekes.

There are still a few that run full bodies and stuffers despite those guys you ran into. Some run a mix including silos depending on the conditions and are not exclusive to any one type.

Rangerbob, how are your DB's holding up? I bought five dozen new DB flocked Canada's this spring. They failed the scratch test. The clear matte comes off easily. The color underneath holds however. Disappointed.

I have had them for 2 seasons and have been happy so far but I didn't use them as hard as I plan to this season. The reason I decided to look at the BA's is to increase the number of poses by combining the DB with The BA. Plus The BA have a lot of favorable reviews.

I finally had an in depth chance to compare my BA samples to my DB's. The Big Al's are positively better quality. The edges are "rougher" on the DB. I'll be buying Al's to increase my flat decoy spread.

What’s everyone carrying their skinny spreads in? I bought a couple of the normal style silo bags but see some companies have come out with a cube design which looks a lot easier. I used a big rubber mate tub last season and it was easy but also a little rough on the nose and tails.
