^^^^^ big it up
Sweet, I got a 70lb hen years ago. Use to fish it every year for a week. released a 68lb and went skunk after that..
I am still waiting for some big ums.
You could feed the whole neighborhood with those.
I'm all for catch and release as well (except for cats and crappie! Yum!)
We took measurements (I have the replica over my bed) and gave it to the village to eat. We gave most of our fish to the crews/locals to eat.
This pic won't qualify. I was shot from the flybridge of our boat, SeaHawk, in Honolulu, of a 1,056 lb Pacific Blue Marlin. Also shown is the lure it was caught on while trolling between Maui and the Kona Coast.
By the way ... this is our boat and it runs charters an average of 22 days per month. It's always booked for the major billfish tournaments in Hawaii if we aren't fishing them ourself.
Contest will run till the end of March.
Not only the G-loomis rod valued at $275.00 but their have been other SWEET prizes donated by the sponsers.
Post up and remember to give weight or length if C&R.
Depending on the winners location, there might be some small shipping charges.
This is a picture of my 38 pound atlantic salmon. It was 45 inches long and had a 24 inch girth. Caught fly fishing on the Restigouche River in New Brunswick CAN.
Here is a king from an O.P. river. Its about 50 pounds. We released it back into the river. It was also caught on a fly.
Do you have different categories or is the saltwater fish what your looking for?
That looks like work on a flyrod.
