I just saw these and they can be used to level your truck ? Can they be used for the back too.....It says they're designed for newer spring/over designs.....

I'm new to all this so be patient with my questions....

There is a video from them saying they are better than using spacers for leveling.....
    THOUGHTS?

    thanks

I have these on my F150. They are great and I think better than the spacer also just because you get a top rate shock with it. There are 5100 series shocks for the rear, but they will not change the ride height of your leaf spring suspension.

    Ride is awesome!

a buddy just asked me, "If/when the shocks start to wear, willl they change the "level" of the truck"?

No, since the lift is achieved by spacing the spring further up the shock/strut housing. The shock is still just a shock.

I've had the 5100's on my 02 Tundra for quite a few years, no complaints at all!

I just used them to level the front of the truck, a lot of guys on the Tundra forums were adding something to the rear as well to give a couple inch lift.

Anyone running the 5100's or OME coil overs on a Tacoma? What coils are you running with either? I'm currently looking at OME Nitro sport struts + OME 886 heavy springs. Have heard of folks running 886's with the 5100's, too. thanks.
