Bismuth or Hevi X

    Of these two shells, which do you think is better for killing ducks at 35yds and beyond??

    With Bismuth being 9.6 g/cc and Hevi X being 10 g/cc , it all comes down to IF you hit'em with either those or Steel shot , they will die !
    It's the Beyond that might put one over the other !

    Whichever one patterns better at the distances you intend to shoot at.

    With emi's history I doubt hevi x would be a full 10gm/cc. Probably closer to bismuth in density so they are likely pretty equal.

    I agree , the RotoMetals Bismuth I load is #4's and I'm happy as can be with it's performance as I load BPI's #161012-9071 and
    Load # 161012-9072 w/Buffer . This 9.6 g/cc shot has reached out to suprising distances on Mallards , it's a winner with its ease of loading !
