Like to know what is a comfortable chair for a floating blind.. I am getting older and need something with a back on it. I use a padded bucket now and makes for a long day.. haha thanks

Metal folding chair. Need additional padding, use a boat cushion.

Used the "bird bucket" seats for years now on my open floor jon boat, both are still good after sun, rain, heat here in Florida. Seat back folds down, chair swivels, underseat box dry storage or for cooler use, you can attach gear belt to hold shells and other items; seat is relatively light in weight, comes in brown and green camo colors. I only wished they were a bit wider/taller but I am 6'4" 210# and they provide enough comfort though I add a small cushion. If the base tapered and were wider than the top it would be ideally more stable. They double as field seats for shooting doves. I believe you can find them for $49.99 at retailers.

I use a metal folding chair in my boat with the blind up. Works good for me

I have always liked having a barstool with a back as my chair in a blind if possible.

Guess the barstool makes it easier to pull up to the bar after a long day of misses :flame

Quite true, but if its a permanent blind with high enough walls it makes standing to shoot oh so much easier.
