    Guys
Just wondering if anyone knows if outfitters are allowed to guide clients on Bloodsworth Island and surrounding islands. I have notice an increase on guides showing up there to guide clients this year. Don't know if its legal or not, hopefully not. Does anyone know? :cry

Good question. Each member of the hunting party would need to hold a permit. Unsure if the same regulations of the WMA's and MHA's would apply to Bloodsworth. I wonder if it is the same guide I had to warn to stay out of Fishing Bay two years ago.

Why would you need to warn a guide to stay out of Fishing Bay?

They can hunt in the gunning and sea duck zones from a boat (if they also have a captains' license) but not WMAs or WMA waters as per the offshore regs of the WMAs.

If he has a registered blind site he would be fine. Hunting public lands is a whole different situation.

Bloods seems to be in a gray area as it isn't WMA. Definitely needs a captains license though.
