My Taxidermist sent me a progress pic of my Blue goose/Speck hybrid.

This goose was shot in Sask a few years back. My Dad and I were in a area that typically holds piles of specks. We had several on the ground when what looked to be an interphase blue mixed in with the specks approaching. When they decoyed in both us dumped the white chested bird. I went to pick it up and couldn't believe my eyes......a blue/speck hybrid! I had only seen a picture of one, and now I was holding one in my hand. The back is almost completely speck, with some white feathers. Chest is solid white. On the head You can see the solid white "whitefront" with a mixed eagle head from a blue. Wings are very similar to a blue with the white outline as well. Crazy combo

I took this guy a few years ago in Alberta. We set up for a dark shoot and when they came in this guy was leading the pack. Stood out like a sore thumb!
