I made this the other day again and chunked some cubed duck breast in it as well.
Not too shabby but it has real POW power from the anchovies and pepper

Poke holes with a fork in italian sausage and simmer in water until done, remove and reduce the water to just the oil that came out of the sausage.

Add the olive oil from the anchovy can plus a little more, saute the onion and pepper until starting to clear.

Add the anchovies and roasted garlic, chop them both up with the spatula and stir them in.

Add the mushrooms which will soak up the oil.

Cut the sausage into disks and add when mushrooms are done.

Move it all to one side and coat the pasta with the remaining pan oil.

    Parmesan and parley to finish.

Looks good. I'll be really impressed if the pasta is homemade....

Making pasta is fairly easy. 1 egg and about 1/2 cup of semolina for each person. I have a home pasta maker but you can make without.....

Nathalie DuPre has some good bread recipes.
