Let s get this thread back on track.
I hope I don’t come off as a braggart, but I sure like showing other duck hunters pics of ducks. And looking at others pics. No real place anymore to check them out. Even if I had a Facebook, hardly anyone I know has one.

When i was out there steelhead fishing many springs ago i would spend my evenings watching birds work those bays. Damn I’d like to hunt there some day.

How do the mallards taste out of that habitat?

Surprisingly delicious. They taste as well as most other places I’ve killed mallards with exception of ND. Those birds are miniature sirloins.
Our sprig are also top notch table fare.
It’s the wigeon that just find something nasty to eat. Pintail and wigeon sit side by side for months. Just can’t slow grill and enjoy a wigeon.
I bounce around between 6 different bays. I am very fortunate because all but 2 I have buddies that call and say, “be here tomorrow”.
The other 2 I’m in charge of calling buddies and saying “be here tomorrow”. It’s almost like cheating.
