well I havn't been Bowfishing in 3weeks to much work to be done... but I made a trip out last night and with the water being so low it made if very tuff... and the moss was thick... but I found anouther target to go after now... forget the stinky fish, these guys make less of a mess and are sporting... :l and I can eat these and they taste good... kind of like a dove you have to eat a dozen to make a meal.

DS, you can skin the back legs like a catfish and bread them, then deep fry them. They are kind of like eating chicken wings. They are very tasty and a real treat for midwesterners. We went frogging in Illinois all the time. we would rustle up as many licensed fishermen as we could find and head for a few ponds. It was not uncommon to get 100 frogs in a night. We would have a big feed with all the folks involved that would include morels, frog legs and mountain oysters. Of course when we lived in illinois in the early 80's you could buy carp in a restaurant or at the grocery store. You want to deep fry those frog legs, they will jump around in a shallow frying pan.

Don't quit killing the carp, the bass need the carp thinned out. I couldn't believe how many carp were in the shallows up by Noble Island the other day when I was out there.
