Hey i got a PSE SilverHawk. Its an older bow an the string broke on me last week. Friend brought it in for me and the guy said he cant fix a steel cable where it broke on the string? The guy wasnt helpful so my friend just left. Anyways was wondering if i can get a new string on it or if im out of luck.

So is the string broken or is the cable broken?

I have 2 of the SilverHawk bows that are now too small for my son. Both are in good working order. Willing to sell 1 or both at a fair price if you can't find the string or cable.

Try to contact PSE directly and see if they can help, then take it to a bow shop.

I think you can now go online to differnt places and get strings. I bet you could go to winners archery or vapor trail possible. I even had an off brand bow that one of those sites helped me get a new cable for once.

Look up www.60xCustomStrings.com and give them a call. They carry a lot of stock strings, and also make up custom ones. This is the company that Cabelas refers people to and if you buy from them and bring the string/cable to a store they will install if for free.
