Looking for a new bow and thinking about this one. Any input appreciated.
How bout tune one? I bought a used one and it's a double cam. I'll be teaching myself how to tune a bow I guess.
On a dual cam, it's vital to have them synchronized. Using an allen wrench, tighten both limbs completely, being careful not to crank down too tight. Now loosen each limb exacly the same, by 1/4 or 1/2 turns, until you reach desired draw weight. This should balance your limbs. What else are you wanting to tune?
This thing has three settings for shooting style. Plus the cams apparently need to be timed. I guess.
As far as bow shopping, now is a great time to get a good deal on a used bow.
Yessir. Synchronized = timed as described above
