Get my votes for fixed head recommendations without breaking the bank. The Phatheads are a heck of nice head. Stout, cut-on-contact, sharp and they fly & penetrate great.
All are solid performers in the field.

Was a three blade muzzy 100 fan, but they just refused to tune on my new bow.

Switched to Slicks and my field tips and broad heads are 1:1.

Shot a deer with Slick Tricks yesterday. Double lung passthrough at 38 yards. Placement was good - I can't shoot any better. Deer went 200 yards, no bood trail for the first 100 yards. My son found it 12 hours later in 80 degree temps.

I have a couple of those broadheads left if anybody wants them.

I tried almost every broadhead over the years. I have almost exclusively hunted hogs for the last 4 years averaging about 50 per year.

Imho, Razor tricks are the best broadhead out there, with Slick Trick Magnums being the next best option. A soft skinned deer is no match for either.

    Huh.

I shot a doe with mine last week and for the life of me could not find my arrow. Decided to let it go as I heard the death crash and just started to look for blood. Complete pass through heart shot at 25 yds, blood trail constant and a foot wide all the way to the deer.

Sorry you didn't have the same luck. But, I have learned that sometimes there's more blood on the bushes than on the ground on a double lung shot since its spraying out as they run rather than dripping down the sides. YMMV.

These get my vote also. They are effective and fly really well out of my bow.
