Yes, you are paying tax now that Bass Pro owns Cabelas. Good news is that if you have any Bass Pro gift certificates lying around they can be converted to Cabelas if you prefer.

Well no more online shopping at cabelas.

As per waders. Simms stocking foot. On year 12 with my current pair. At a little over $40 per year that’s $0.50-$1.00 per hunting trip.

I quit shopping at Cabela's a long time ago. The quality of the products they put their name on has gone down hill IMHO. I 'm sure others have a different opinion. I suspect it will get worse with Bass Pro in the picture now. Been buying stuff from Mack's. As for waders, bought a new pair direct from lacrosse in stout and love them. They fit really nice and even have chest sizing by boot size. The length on the inseam is as advertised.

Cabelas waders are the way to go. I'm hell on earth for them and no issues. Every three years I send them back and get a new pair for the cost of shipping. Top that if you can

They replaced my 5 yr old Dry Plus waders for leaking this year. Cost me $32.50.
