I have a Canvasback and Redhead that I am going to get mounted and was wondering if anyone could post up pictures of their mounts. I am thinking I want both to be flying. I don't think I will have them together either.

    Thanks!

I would just look at Birdman Studios. He has so many mounts and they look amazing so they should give you an idea of what you might want. I like the idea of them not together. If you are getting your birds done by Leon Matthews in Tri Cities, he did a Redhead for Jon Murphy that from the pictures I thought looked really cool.

I plan to bring my can to Leon. He does great work. Thanks for all the replies.

We frequently see cans and redheads flying together... I actually think that would be a really cool mount. If I were going to do one of each, I would put them together as a pair to contrast the differences and show the similarities...

I went nonconventional with my can and wanted something I hadn't seen before in a can mount but something I have seen in the wild. Found a picture of a can taking off the water with it's legs running. Leon match the picture exactly. The red I wanted how he came in after he passed the decoys, banked hard and came back in my face.

This is my son's diver mount.
It took a couple of seasons to get all four, but I like the way it turned out.

I really like that redhead! You got any pictures of it from the belly side? And the goose to the right? Is it upside down?

Since I know the OP personally I'll gladly hijack his thread with more pictures!

More of the redhead and Yep, the cackler is upside down. Got it done how it passed over the spread from our backs and flipped down to come into the decoys.
