Can you still shoot lead for Turkey ?

    been a while since I’ve had to worry about something other than steel....

    I’ll be Turkey hunting private land in Northern Ca this coming week. Is lead shot still allowed for Turkey? Or do I need nonlead shot?

    The regs have different phases which are confusing to my slow self.... Thanks

    Scratch that. Just found the answer...can NOT use lead.

    Haven’t been able to use lead for turkeys since 2016...

    On private land ..... I shoot LeRoy .... This law is BS no scientific data .... NO Compliance.. That simple ... Comply to fair and just law .?.. Ignore the rest
