I don't mind being called a canuck, just don't call me a Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Them's fightin' words.
I don't like it much like many people i know. Where did that term come from anyhow?
I definitely don't like anything Toronto!!
I hear their lowlife mayor is resigning, or not going to run next term? Worries me what his personal agenda might be next.
Alan Rock got something for that fag to do with the UN maybe?
Yep, you're right. It's already started around here..."oh this is the year. They're brining Lord Stanley back to T.O.....blah blah blah
Did you know why Toronto put up such a fuss about Hamilton getting a NHL team?Because then they'd want one.
Canucks.. Remember those crazy canucks - downhill skiers of the late 1970's early 1980's - Ken Reid, Dave Irwin, Dave Murray, Steve Podborski.
Canucks were also a economy level brand shotshell made by CIL back in the day. AVRO CF-100 early jet fighter - nicknamed canuck, also the canadian verson of the curtiss JN-4 biplane (nicknamed Jenny in the US) was of course a Canuck here.
Just a term that's a bit old fashioned, not meant to be malicious.I've been called worse
