Tried to get my Manitoba License today and was told they weren't mailing anything because the postal service is going to strike and they didn't want any getting stuck. Anyone else hear anything about this? Guess we will just have to wait until we get there to get them. Couldn't find any place that you could print them off.

Yes they were ina 30 day no strike window but that is coming up soon. If they dont get the deal done, dont plan on using the postal service in canada.

good think SK using the HAL online system. Our permits get mailed out of Tennessee when purchasing online. Our guide is picking up our stamps though.

Stamps online too. Sask is head and shoulders easier than MB. 1 of our guys who didn't get his license and Hab Cert in the mail last mo was told it was misdirected and they would not send a duplicate. They then told him they would not give him his license (the mia one he was charged but did not get) # over the phone and that he could not order a duplicate. He will need to go to office in Winnipeg when he arrives and buy a duplicate.
One more story for the camp fire. All good though.
