Seriously if I use your “contact us” option which only requires my first name, e-mail, and my question, I should not get a return e-mail that says “Hi this xxxx from xxxx, first things first I need your last name and phone number so we can stay in contact”.

    Stupid vent I know but...

All websites suck about this, and I think it’s a big reason why I get 900 calls a week from telemarketers and scam artists. I assume 90% of every website I’ve ever heard to provide my phone number and email address to sold them to some crappy company that spams me all the time.

Maybe there are better solutions, but I tried RoboKiller and the calls have stopped. @ $30 per year. If it continues to work, worth it to me. Sucks it costs money to keep people from bothering you.

Give them a siblings or friends number, me and my brother have been doing this to each other for years.

I've been known to use the number for the local Social Services office in those forms

And there's been dirty salesmen for as long as there's been salesmen.

Are you saying that the customer trying not to get screwed over by the dealer is being “dirty”?
