Can you even buy from that place?
Don't know. I bought a case about 4 years ago and still have some left. I know a distributor for wine and spirits and can check with him.
that's a tall *** transom I love it did you make it that tall?i need that
I know a bar owner that says he can get it but have yet to see a bottle, you know how that goes.
I used to see it around town for $55 to $60, but that was before the great Pappy's heist a few years ago, now they can't keep it in stock at $75+ a bottle.
My idea at the time was , make the transom to fit the short-shaft of the motor and as you can see , even at that I had to add that
little baffle going from the transom to the intake in order to get more clean (no air) water into the pump ! It did add weight to the
boat but for Lake fishing or shutting down fast , it was a plus !
That looks to be a 20 inch transom. My motor sits about the same. The plate on the back does very little. The side plate kit they sell really helps for rougher water and cavitation. It really helps the boat from sliding in tight turns.
I'd like to see your side-plate , maybe I didn't think of everything ?
They sell them at Outboard Jet.
I bend mine all the time and have to beat them back into place.
I like the height of the transom mine is down in the middle I wish it was the same height from corner to corner because I hust some ruff water that does come over the back from time to time
Thanks....I guess I'll make a pair and try it , anyhing that'll guide clean water to the pump is a benefit !
I can see the advantage this would give turning , I did put some additional (half) 1 1/2" beads the full length on the bottom of the hull
that helps from sliding and a little extra help won't hurt with this . But , there again , that's part of the " Know How " in piloting a jet !
