Carving a goose

    Quick little video I made using power and hand tools to make a lesser Canada goose. I will try to find a completed project pic. Simple gunning bird

    Great video. Your process is pretty close to mine, except your final product is a work of art and mine - well lets just say mine don't compare. Thanks for posting that.

    I use the same tools as swampy, but I can't make one in two minutes and nine seconds like he can.... :(

    I would not chalk it up to talent. Stubbornness to make a better decoy every time is closer to the mark. I like to carve them fast to take my time painting

    Very nice decoy.Now that I am retired I will probably get back into at least painting and maybe some carving.
    I have a bad quirk of not taking my time,once I start something I hate to stop until its finished.Sometimes I work when I am tired and or not focused.
