Great looking decoy. Will you be putting it to work? Just out of curiosity, how many hours do you think you put into that decoy?

Yes I will be using her.
I would say about 10 to 12 hours.

Nice decoy. Is that a mallard hen or a black duck?

my plan was a hen mallard, but it is dark. so i have decided it is a hybred.

Hybrid ... I like that ... I initially thought it was bit dark for a hen mallard. You solved that. Nice detailed paint.

i'm happy with the detail. when it is the water with the rest of the decoys it does'nt appear so dark.
