Shouldn't be a suprise, center and rim fire are illegal in NJ day or night.
Shotgun only at night with a special month long season, muzzle loader or shot gun day time.
WV is not legal. Regulations read rimfire only.
Legal in NM for varmints but no artificial lights.
Had a blast calling coyotes on a full moon with snow on the ground. Used a shotgun with a red dot sight and my buddy had an AR-15 with an ACOG.
Legal in VT w/o a light.
Centerfire are fine in SD night hunt
Legal in PA, as far as I can tell, any caliber. Shotguns #4 buck or smaller.
Yes, conditionally, though.
You can't use a centerfire in a WMA that is not legal for rifles during any open deer season. The entire Southern Zone is shotgun only. So, from Oct. 15th (early archery opener) - Dec. 21 (last day of late archery/muzzleloader) this year, it was not legal to carry a centerfire in the field after any game, day or night.
Its legal at night just without the aid of light .....and not in turkey season
no centerfire, no lights & no night vision devices in SD.
