Centerfire at night???

    There was an incident about 30 miles west of me where a varmint hunter was shot at night by another varmint hunter. I believe it was with a rifle, although not certain whether it was a centerfire or not.

    NY used to have a limitation on hunting at night with only a rimfire permitted or a shotgun with shot no larger than #4 birdshot. This was about 15 years ago.

    as mentioned before its legal in texas and artificial light is legal as well. heck most ranchers i know encourage it.

    and i've not read or hear of any incidents of injury or harm to person or property because of it.
