We leave next Friday. Talked to a Farmer over the weekend and he's only seen a few flights of Snows so far. Things should get rolling here soon.

I talked to a guy who knew a women that was a 4th cousin to a welder that was working outside a lot, that saw some snow geese flying south.

Seriously, every year the geese pass through SK, AB and MB by the thousands and thousands. There is nothing new, I realize that you are driving from long distances. There are way to many variables to even worry about reports. It is the law of averages from the Sept 20th till Oct 28th you will find Snow geese in SK there might be 2-3 hours difference whether your in the middle of a million birds or 50 thousands.

They are always here they will always will be at this time of the year.

Have fun shoot some birds make some memories and be safe.
Last of all respect each other and the locals, 90% of Saskatchewan is private land.

From my reports, take chains & tow straps. Lots of water in the fields. Secondary roads may be a little mushy. Harvest at a standstill. Need four or five days of dry weather to get back in the fields.

Yes, apparently rain and drizzle most of this week....probably a bit sloppy out there. If you can't get in and out without tearing up a field, please don't go in! We are very fortunate most of the Canadian farmers are generous enough to let us go out in the first place....respect that!
Have a good hunt and be safe

And just because you have been in an area with good #'s for 10 years doesnt meant it won't be void of birds the next year, or the year after that..........................
