Best of luck Tracey..Please let us know Monday how she did and if she picked her new-owner
Just a quick post before I go to bed. Piper passed today!
Way to go Piper!
That Piper is a sweet pup and is gonna make someone a very nice dog. I watched her run water and land today and will be judging her tomorrow. Took lots of pics of her today!
Was there any doubt??
Too Cool ...
Well guys, the hunt is over. But before I get into that, I would like to say that Piper passed started again today! I am very proud of her and my friend that handled her. It was so good for Piper mentally. She was so excited this morning at 5 am that she jumped into the bed of the truck before I could stop her. Normally she puts her front paws on the tail gate and I lift her up from the rear. She was very hyped!
Heres the good news. Piper went home with a new family today! I hadn't realized how attached I had become to her until it was time for her to leave. I pretty much lost it for a minute. She's such a good and sweet dog. But her family includes two small children and a 4 month old pup. She'll get to go hunting and her new dad is interested in getting involved in hunt tests. Piper is a great dog to start with and what she accomplishes after her recovery will only be limited by her teachers abilities. He also has unlimited access to ponds so swimming won't be a problem.
Thanks again guys!
Thats great to hear! I hope that her new owner comes here to give us updates and pictures
Congrats to Piper
That's great news ...
