Put down a $500.00 deposit on my pup tonight, pretty jacked about it. Getting a Female, parents are beautiful, great hunters. Torn between a solid brown one and a brown one with a small white stripe on the chest. Probably go with that one because it is unique.

Enjoy the ride! My female is 10+ years old and so laid back until it's time to hunt. My 10 month old male pup is the complete opposite of her. Knothead tries my patience constantly but we're having fun and learning. I had labs until my girl and now it's got to be a chessie.

I once picked one with white toes on a rear paw after having a dream of one such, and it worked out well. 'Course, it didn't hurt that its dam was a Barry and Sally offspring and Chase was its sire - something perhaps only meaningful to long time Chessie folks. Wishing you and yours grand times.

My pup was picked by my fiancee and she picked him solely based on he has a white start on his chest...also was the smaller one in the crew. I say picked the one with the white strip b/c it's unique...worked out so far with my pup going on that simple logic
