Are those crickets I hear. You boys better be waking some ducks. I'm stuck in the office today bored and not very focused on work. Taking another cheesehead out for a quail hunt and a duck scouting trip tomorrow.

Now I know there are no ducks in the desert, because Ron and I killed them all this morning.

I admit it. I came up one short of the limit. We took a spooner apiece so we're both guilty on that charge. They decoyed real nice and one was on the left and one was on the right, couldnt ask for a better set-up.

My last chance of the morning came on a nice greenhead, I rocked him hard but he still flew away.

For good measure I went out this morning and only shot one so I guess I filled yesterdays limit.

Nice picture! You didn't leave enough backgound in it though. Makes it really difficult to determine where you were hunting!

Glad you guys had a good time!

Nice tailgate. We made it out sunday for a quail hunt and decided to walk the river by us. ended up with 4 quail, (to much wind) and 3 mallards. Not many ducks in that part of the desert.

Thats right, no ducks in the desert.

The narrow pic was definitely on purpose. It didnt work though as we had some yokels right next to us the next morning. Set up 100yds away with their seven dekes and two mojos. Such is hunting on public land.
