I live about 1.5 hr drive east from San Diego and we get a lot of cinnamons here. I can take you out for cinnys and I'd like to get a crack at some Black Ducks.

I can swap you our Black ducks, which are the same as the NZ Grey ducks!!!!
Our season should be on from about mid March until Early June next year!

Do they look like these.....I got some already. I'd rather have your pink-eared duck.

That's my favorite thing about this website; there are people from all over the planet on here that share the same passion for our sport.

I am in northern MI, and we have blacks from day one of the season as we have breeding pairs locally, and it only gets better as the season goes on.

That's our Blackie! This last season I shot more Pinkies than I've ever shot over the last 30 years! In fact, haven't shot them for at least the last 25 odd years! Just not normally down here like this year! This year they were down in their droves! Must have shot nearly 15 in total. They eat ok too! Very, very small bird, probably even smaller than your BWT or GWT. Almost salmon coloured skin!

Hardhead. Our only diver and probably my favourite!

6 duck limit on blacks here until Dec.1 then it drops to 4 but you'd have to come north of the border!

PEI for black ducks is one of the top 2 or 3 trips I want to take one day.
