Pic from Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, ten minutes west of Hwy. 5
@fishdog can probably confirm that’s about an hour drive west of the fire.
I don't know Bob but do know Mike, wishing the best for both of them and anyone else not mentioned in this post.
I know people on this forum are willing to help at the drop of a hat if need be
just say the word.
Hang in there and prayers sent to everyone involved.
Stay safe first responders.
The Fire has reached Paradise. Lower sections of the town are burning. Clark road and the Skyway areas. Moving south east towards Chico. They’ve got some tankers in the air now. Pulling out all the stops with resources racing to the scene. People fleeing.
Prayers for everyone that is affected by this
Born and raised up in Paradise. I no longer live there but lots of friends still do. This is bad, real bad.
I hope they can stop it before it hits Chico
God, these pictures are frightening! Prayers go out to everyone up there.
I checked Cal Trans live camera in Chico: Cars streaming out http://dot.ca.gov/d3/cameras.html
Chico is insane right now.. my pregnanct wife and I left work early because we live on the east side of town to pack our bags and get some stuff loaded just in case we have to leave.
