Are the any numbers of Canada geese in and around the refuge at Crab Orchard? Loved to hunt there in the glory years when there were lots of geese in the area.

A question from an old man sitting by the fire everyday.

Going to the viewing platform at Crab was a treat. Usually my first stop when I got down to 'Little Egypt." Those were great days, pepper.

Thanks for the backup 3's. I've been a member for many years; had about 100 posts. For some reason, couldn't get on with my old username/ password, so now I have a new one. Sure do miss the days when every morning new and interesting and informative (heaven forbid) duck talk was something to look forward to. Oh, while I'm here, what are the best stakes at Cottonwood and where does Mr. Mallerd and Cornbuzzard like to go.
