I think crappie eat better. Love to fish for both!

If I'm where I can keep 12 inch bass I actually prefer them over crappie.

Steady bite of bass in our lake today. Fish weighing anywhere from a pound to four pounds. Caught a few on crank bait then switched to wacky worm, they really liked the Orange and green mixed worms. Fished about three hours.

Our weather this spring has been ridiculous. I've been out five or six times and have yet to get a bite. Our ponds and lakes are either way over pool and look like chocolate milk, or when the rain holds off for a week or so and things start to clear up a bit, it turns cold as balls and I don't feel like fighting the wind.

Having the same issue out west! Our weather's just too inconsistent right now.

Been a cool wet spring but since the temps have come up, good bite of fish right now.
