You guys get to do everything over there.
Are you guys not allowed to use silencers???
This ones on my CZ527 .22 Hornet, a great gun for Hares.
Guess it's time to move?!?
They are illegal to have for anything in the US.
Those are some economy sized Long Ears! How often do you have to stop a charge?!
A Silenced .22 Hornet. COOL! How quiet is it anyway. I'd think it wouldn't have a lorge muzzle blast, but that there would be a crack as the bullet broke the sound barrier, same for the .22 unless your using sub sonics.
As for the bunnies, now I understand why the guys in Monty Pythons Search for the Holy Grail were so afraid of that little bunny.
No there not many states allow them you just have to pay Uncle Sam.
Another question about the silencers. How are they attached to the barrel? Is it a press fit, or are they screwed onto external threads?
Not true at all. I have a guy that I work with that has silencers on three of his guns right now and is getting two more installed. I have two forms awaiting approval myself on two different guns for silencers. They are not illegal in many states actually they are just Federally registered and licensed and if you have a clean background, valid reason, and Uncle Sam gets his $600 you are good to go at least in Colorado.
Adduckted the most common practice is to have the barrel threaded to accept them and then have threaded muzzle crowns that you can install when you don't want them on.
