That’s great, some people are gonna have some fun hunts. I’d like to see them start buying some ag land and create some nesting complexes. Plant some winter wheat, rye and such

Club can shoot but needs some work. I think it has great potential if CWA does some dirt work. Will be interesting to see how a CWA property looks when it controls all aspects of enhancement and flooding.

Can’t buy enough land for that. CWA is working to pass legislation that encourages farmers to develop upland nesting habitat. It’s frustrating to see disked fallow dirt clod rice ground in the spring who’s water rights have been sold to LA. That surely doesn’t benefit wildlife.

I'll admit, CWA has quite a few hunts available now, from quite a few nice places. I'll give them that much. Lots of generous donors.......

The way the SoCal reps shot that down last year, it’ll never pass

    Benefit of the doubt.
More land acquisitions along Butte Creek are vital, absolutley.
    Prove me wrong?
