This thread hasn't been posted for a year or two, so thought I would bring it back to life. Obviously don't post where you hunt due to internet scounting, but its nice to see how the different guys we know in different areas are doing. Since the CZ opened today, how did everyone do?

As for us,,,,,an even 50 ducks met their demise today. Total mixed bag, several teal, some mallards and a few nice pintails, grey ducks, a couple hollywoods, a widgeon and 3 ringers. Heard a bunch of wood ducks before daylight and saw a few but none died. All in all a great opener.

Saw TONS of Pintails and teal. Hope everyone enjoys the season.....back at them tomorrow!:tu

our group did pretty well, all things considered. It is hard to work ducks in a war zone. Lots and lots of banging goin on. We finished with 12, 4 woodies, 4 mallards, 3 gadwalss, and a bootlip

There were hundreds of ducks swarming at shooting hours but it was dead calm and we couldn't get a bird to work, you would have thought it was the second week in November. As soon as the breeze picked up at about 8:30 it changed everything. Gotta love the wind.

Waaaay less ducks in the air today. 2 different pits killed 18, more big ducks today. Had a good wind, just not a whole lot of ducks in the bright blue sky.
