    If you have open water you shouldnt have trouble killing a few birds right now.:reader And I saw numerous flights today.

    More than skimmed in the back waters of the Big Bend. It was an inch thick on Sunday. It warmed up on Monday and probably melted. I am sure it is over an inch now. That's why I am deer hunting tommorrow!

    Saw a wopping 4-6 ducks all morning. Saw more Eagles and zero geese flying. Managed to kill the 2 drakes that flew in. This would be in the North zone/Central zone part of the river. Took a 14 mile run of the river and saw zero loafing ducks.

    The ducks are just not here and with this snow, they are prolly going to fly ll day 2moro and we won't see them! But the good news is we are still managing to kill geese everyday!!!

    Soon as the frost started to melt about 9:30, game on. Coulda kilt them all day. Shot em all at 25 yards.
