I found some Danner boots online(can't try them on) and there is nowhere locally that sells Danners. How do they run size wise? I have a pair of rocky's that I like for colder weather and wear a size 10. I also wear a 10 1/2 in Nike tennis shoe and have worn an 11 in some Adidas.

I tell you all of this b/c I don't want to have to return them. Does anybody have some Danners that have or used to have Rockys? Did you where the same size or up or down a 1/2?

Just bought a pair of Danner's yesterday. They run the same size as my Nike tennis shoes and Wolverine boots. I have to get Rocky's a half size bigger to fit the same. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the input but I am confused now. I have to buy a 1/2 size up for Nike from my Rocky boots. Any others?

I have the pronghorn 1000s and I wear the same size as my nike running shoes 10.5.

They run small and narrow for me.

My last two pairs of Danners were bought 1 size larger than my regular athletic shoe size.

I go up a full size and they must be 'wide', or I pass.

Thanks guys! I went with a 10 1/2. It is a small issue but if you have ever had to return and get replacements from online orders you kow why I asked.

Mudhen is right in how they fit. I did the same with my 3 pairs all 1 size larger. But they are like wearing sneakers they are so comfortable.

Where did ya get em and what model?

I picked up 2 pairs last spring and both were 1 size up from what I usually get. Great boots(pronghorns)
