Last year I went to DD. I put in and looked around. I found some ducks hitting in a hole well back in the timber. I eased back in there and there were decoys out but no hunters. 5 of us went back in the next morning and were3 ducks shy when 2 boats pulled in and got all sideways about us on "their spot". It didn't escalate at that time.
I told them I was thankful they left their decoys even though it was illegal for them to do so and we would be back the next day. We showed up to the ramp early, and they were there earlier. We didn't go back into that spot, instead we went where we saw some other birds hitting the previous day about 200yds away.
We had several real good vollies and they had 1. Next thing I know they come over and once again act all upset. I finally had enough and told them to be at the ramp at 11 and we would figure it out. We waited til 11:30 and nobody showed up.
I didn't have the opportunity to go back due to work.
My question is are all the locals that friendly? If so I may take a few more days off and do a few pushups before I come back.
I dang sure ain't giving up hunting there. It was smokin hot.

Make sure you take of the white Costas, and custom jeans so they don't get blood on them.

Nah, we were at the ramp. I guess you call it a ramp anyway. Pretty pitiful in reality, but it gets the job done. I don;t care how sorry the roads are, and how bad the ramp is I will be back soon. I love to watch those birds fall in through the timber.

Cell phones are a wonderful technology. I would have called the friendly officers at Fish and Game.

Where on DD were you? Cause I don't know of one single crappy AGFC ramp on the place? Roads, that's another story. Probably not locals either, we rarely get to hunt it anymore. To crowded.
