I'll be in Daytona in late June. What are some things to do or see while we are down there? I'm looking to go fishing one day, but what else should we check out? Places to see, places to eat, anything that you think might be impressive. Thanks!!!

Sadly, Daytona is an absolute ***** hole full of tourist traps, t-shirt vendors & bars. If you don't mind traveling within an hour of there, try these places. This is what I recommend to my clients for extra things to do while here.

St Augustine: Fort, Lighthouse, downtown market, beachside zoo, eat at Capps on the Water

Port Canaveral/Cape Canaveral: NASA/Kennedy Space Center, Casino boat, parasailing, Brevard Zoo. Eat at Grills & order the lionfish. Contact Capt Jim Ross for inshore/nearshore fishing trip.

New Smyrna Beach: Eat at JB's Fish Camp. You can also charter a flats guide from here.
