Dead Mount Ideas

    Not close to any of pieces of art that some of the guys on this site produce but here is my dead mount from a local tax man. He did the birds only, backboard was done by my dad and a buddy and the can decoy was carved by my Gpa who is not a hunter. I have since changed out the box of shells for some older Remingtons, the call was my first ever duck call as a youngster.

    Any particular species?

    I would like to do a Mallard, pintail, canvasback deadmount...

    A pheasant and mallard deadmount would be cool as well... (Name it green heads and white rings).

    Any upland deadmount with 2 or more species would be cool. I have been considering a mountain quail/valley quail combo, and adding a gambels and scales if I ever can get into them...

    The wing on the left is folded up a little more than normal because I'm have a Cackler mounted next to it this summer.

    They do look great and take up less space.
